New development plan was agreed at Avis Ukraine Board Meeting
In September it was held the Board meeting at Avis Ukraine, licensee of the world’s famous leasing and rental corporation, dedicated to the “Overview of 6 months results. New development guidelines”.
In February 2008 CFI “VIP-Rent” was bought by new investors (TBIF Financial Cervices and Avis Israel), which belong to a big financial group Kardan Group.
2008 is a new development stage for Avis Ukraine. Company has celebrated its 11-th anniversary, opened 6 regional offices, doubled rental and increased in quarter its leasing fleets. Among the main company’s goals are: considerable increase of leasing share among Ukrainian companies with the help of flexible price policy and new additional services; renewal and extension of rental fleet and gaining of maximum effectiveness of its usage with the help of optimal logistics organization among rental stations on the territory of Ukraine.
According to the 6 months results Avis’s Ukraine financial plan is fulfilled according to all main operation factors. Cars fleet increased in a quarter comparing the beginning of the year, till the end of the year it should consist of 2000 cars.
Revenue increase dynamics has grown up to 95% in the first half in comparison with the same period in 2007. Together with leasing which takes leading position in the company’s income structure (63%) has increased rental (21%) and transportation services (10%) shares.

If in Europe each company has conception about leasing and its advantages, in Ukraine this service only begins its development. There is no enough information about leasing today, this fact state representatives of Ukrainian companies, among whom was made a special poll. Oleg Nechaiev, CEO Avis Ukraine emphasizes that “Ukrainian leasing market is on the stage of its forming. That is why Avis’s Ukraine strategic goal is not only to provide qualitative services but also inform Ukrainian companies about this kind of service and its advantages”. Oleg Nechaiev points out a big potential of Ukrainian leasing and rental market, talking about its rapid development factors. Ukrainian leasing services market continues its growth, Avis sales development dynamics outpaces this growth, showing 60% increase in 6 months 2008 in comparison with the same period in 2007.
