So you came to a foreign country – so much interesting and cognitive. And you burn from impatience to discover it completely. Of course you can allow everything on a drift and rely on a case, but it’ll be much better, if you would know about some features of the country you came to. This knowledge will be useful to save your time, money and health.
If you are reading this text now, then there is a probability that you decided to rent an AVIS car or it is already done. In any case, if you have a car (rented or your own), before driving out on the roads of an unknown country you must have some short information about its rules and national differences. And we’ll try to help you with this.
You came to Ukraine on your own car or you want to rent a car here? First of all you must have international driving licence. If you have it in your pockets – there’s no problem and you can rent a car here. But, when you’ll stay more than one year in Ukraine – its better to hurry up and turn your licence into an Ukrainian copy. Because you’ll be enable to drive, without a driver (but of course you can find a driver in AVIS).
So, you are now driving, with your licence in your pocket – and we can start our trip. You must to know, that we have a right hand stream. Don’t forget about it in order not to clash with somebody on your way.
You are rushing in search of something interesting or you are going somewhere on your business. But – how fast can you overcome your way? Like in every country of the world, there are some speed limits in Ukraine and you must know about them:
- 60 km p/h – in a city;
- 90 km p/h – on the main roads of the country;
- 120 km p/h – on the highway.
The movement needs energy consumption. And person by the steering wheel necessarily would want to refresh oneself. Besides if you are in foreigner country you couldn’t have a real sensation of her spirit if you don’t discover her roads and don’t taste the national dishes. Ukrainian cuisine is very famous all over the world. For doesn’t be the hearsay’s person you should make sure in Ukrainian delicious yourself. If you want to have good and tasty food intake you need to know the places you can have it. We recommend!
Of course you would want to spend your rest in a walk or in some cultural- entertainment places. For this, you should to parking your car somewhere. And it would be better for you to know the rates for parking in Ukraine in order not to offend the park-men and not to get offended by them.
- The medium price for parking in our capital is 5-10 grivnas per night,
- Parking in the center of the city will cost you departing from 4 grivnas per hour.
